Exisiting

A ship anchored in our bay

The sailors looking out to the shores

And we, to the ship

The day darkens and we see eachothers lights

Wondering whether the other is really there

  1. This reminded me of last stanza of a Chieftains song “Here’s a Health”
“Our ship lies at anchor, she’s ready to dock.
I wish her safe landing without any shock,
And if ever I should meet you, by land or by sea,
I shall always remember your kindness to me.”
