My Mess

Blocked thoughts

The thick sludge stops me moving on

To cleaner waters

All that I am

Is blocked at the pores

Stopped from escaping myself

Kept too long inside, rotting away

If there’s a chance of escape

I will kill it

And run from this mess I’ve made
