Girl from the Willows

She sung in the wind

To the willows that hung low

Over the river banks

The mossy stones that hummed along

In the stream

The birds creating their own melodies

The individuality of each instrument

Created a beautiful soundscape

But her voice caught me like a fish

Begging to be netted
