Dwarves

Dig deeper stunted ones

Dig through rock and ore

With your bare hands

It may take you many years

Many lives and tears

But you will find your jewels

And they will shine

Washing you of your guilt

Born and raised in Torquay, England. 22 years old. Teeming with thoughts that need an outlet, working a full time job at his local supermarket. Unfortunately born a poet, he will most likely suffer from this contradiction most of his life.

    1. I feel like for me personally, it’s a very greedy thing to destroy a mountain or landscape for just a few resources.. I feel like once they obtain what they want it will help them forget about the damage they’ve done.. For me I would feel guilty!

  1. When I first read this I thought of the struggle of looking for treasure, the pain we feel ‘as we dig and continue searching’, but then when we come to accept our journey the treasure, acceptance or inner peace, will wash away any regret or depression from the past.
