You held me
And let me loose
A man with no lights
No signs so that I could be led
You lost me in the dark
Left me there
But I learnt that you could not teach with words
But with experience, and I’m a better man for it

Learning to see in the darkness is one of life’s great lessons, and for some reason, people always assume that seeing in light is inherent. All of it may have to be learned. Very nice piece.
