Anger

The elephant stood  up high on its hind legs

And roared my name

He dropped and shook the earth beneath us

As he began to stampede

The ground opened up

Swallowing the screaming, fuming elephant

  1. The “BEAST” within seems , required, “SOME” out
    to warn for distance, MAYBE, SHOUT.!
    The “TERN” of Twist requires some SURE
    like “Orphan”, ILL FED, “WE” want some more.
