Not too old to Daydream

Acting out a piece in her mind

You can see the stage

In her eyes

She can hear the music

That isn’t playing

Because they don’t allow it

She eats and drinks

When they say she can

But, honestly, she doesn’t care

She’s dancing away in her memory

With a man she once knew
