The Masked Man

A man in a mask stands on top of a multistory

The rain wipes the dust

Collecting on his mask

The wind carries his words

Down to the people

“Let yourselves be who you truly are! Let your instincts show you the way!”

So the people razed the town

Broke the windows

Looted, plundered, killed one another

Killed themselves

The masked man let himself drop

To the ground floor

His mask shattered
