Life Is Easier When You’re A Cup

Please bind my soul to a cup

So that at times I may be full

Half-empty or empty

And be fully aware

Of who fills me up

Or who empties me

Who drinks from me

Or who spills me

Who cleans me

Or who dirties me

Whose favourite mug I am

And who never picks me up
